Who is it for?
Professionals at the end of an assignment or job in a different country. This may be your first time returning from another country or you may have previous expat experience. The personal consultancy is totally individual and adjusted to your needs.

What countries?
KIT International Professionals works with a pool of more than 350 specialists from virtually every country in the world, established over decades.  We are part of the KIT international knowledge hub in Amsterdam, and have permanent offices in Shanghai and the Boston. We can provide training for any country.

Anywhere. Face to face at our Amsterdam, Boston or Shanghai offices/training centres or on location by arrangement. 

 

The programme

You will be working interactively with two consultants, one specialised in intercultural skills development, the other with experience of returning as an expat from your destination country.  

  • Orientation interview
    With the intercultural expert, by phone or Skype (up to 30 minutes)
  • Coming home: defining the experience
    Intercultural communication, cultural programming, cultural change.
  • Your country today
    An update on the developments that have taken place during your absence, tailored to your needs and interests.
  • The expat experience
    A veteran returning expat shares an analysis of his or her experience.
     
  • Planning your future

Together with intercultural competence expert you draw up a step-by-step plan for re-establishing you and your family’s social and working life.

  • Online support

Wherever you are, we’re there to help you. Learning doesn’t stop when we shake hands and say goodbye. We can provide follow-up online support at any time.
